The most Instagramable spots in Transylvania

Transylvania is an extremely picturesque and photogenic region. I often complain that some of the photos we publish are not as magical as I would like. In the case of those from Transylvania, however, it is quite different, because not only this region looks great in the pictures, it also makes the photos mysterious and moody. Simply put, they have a soul. Today we show you the most Instagramable sites in Transylvania.

Peleş Castle

A beautiful palace in Sinaia town. Once it was the residence of King Charles I, now it is one of the most visited places in Romania. The interior of the palace itself may not be as picturesque (and it costs an additional 30 LEI to take photos there), but photographing the palace from the outside is free of charge and we highly recommend it.

Braşov

The charming old town of Braşov is definitely another place on our list. You must take pictures on the Old Town Square and in the nearby streets. Braşov is also famous for its Braşov sign on Mount Tampa, which photos may be slightly reminiscent of this one on the Hollywood hills. If you feel like it, climb up the Tampa Mountain or take the cableway. From the hill, you can photograph the city panorama.

Bran Castle

Bran Castle is one of the most famous castles in Europe and at the same time a symbol of Romania. Annually, it is visited by crowds of tourists who come here hoping to meet with the legendary Dracula. You won’t find Dracula here, but you can take some photos 😀 The first great place will be the area around the castle near the ponds. From this perspective, you will capture the castle in its entirety. The second, lower balcony in the castle, from which you will photograph the yard. The third is a taller balcony, with a great view of the towers.
